Cargo Bar
The well known Loaded Hog in Auckland’s Viaduct was sold and Cape was awarded the contract to strip it back to bare bones and fully refurbish it into two bars.

Four Nations
The ‘other half’ of the Loaded Hog, this bar presented a few challenges before it started, like putting in 10 piles to 12m inside the building and a substantial steel structure to support future alterations to an adjacent building, owned by the same landlord.

The Attic
The brief for the designer of the Attic Bar was to create a neighbourhood bar where people would feel comfortable popping in for a quick drink with friends after work, having an evening meal or enjoying a leisurely breakfast on the weekend. The project got underway with the strip out of the existing restaurant. New timber flooring was laid, a new bar was built and the existing outside deck upgraded. The warm, homely feeling was created with the use of timber, bookshelves and a lounge type area with a TV where patrons can sit comfortably away from the main bar and restaurant area.
